About Multi-des

Jos Kievits, has been disinfecting barns for 17 years, and six years ago started his own company “Poultry Service Kievits”. Jos runs the company together with his wife Marjan and one more employee. Jos is active in the north of the Netherlands and certain regions of Germany and Poland.

Jos is extremely satisfied with his experiences using Multi-Des. “For me the Hygienogram is the best indicator of whether a disinfectant works effectively and with Multi-Des I get the very best scores”.

Jos started working with this new product from Intracare right from its launch. “All of Intracare’s products are of high quality, so I had the fullest confidence in this product, too”. “As, in addition to good quality, Multi-Des is also considerably cheaper than other disinfectants on the market, the customer also benefits from Multi-Des. An important point in these difficult times”. Jos has developed his own spray applicator system. Using mainly stainless steel, he has made a unit comprising 2 fans with a nozzle in between. He uses this to spray a 5% Multi-Des solution under high pressure. “My own system is practically malfunction-free, so it saves me a lot of trouble”.

Jos emphasises that the cooperation of the farmer also pays a major contribution to the results. “The barns have to be cleaned properly, otherwise disinfecting has no sense at all”. Jos also advises letting the buildings dry for a day before starting to disinfect.
