The World Buiatrics Congress is held every other year and is attracting veterinarians and professionals from all over the world. This year the congress was held in beautiful Lisbon. Intracare was for the first time present with a booth. The focus of the congress is the health of the dairy cow in all its aspect although the main focus is mastitis. It was heartwarming that we got very positive response from the congress members. It doesn’t matter from which country the vet came from, all the people that we spoke experience the problem of digital dermatitis. The congress members were impressed of the treatment scheme of digital dermatitis by our different Hoof-fit products and they were very pleasantly surprised that Hoof-fit gel is registered as veterinary medicine. The clinical trial for the gel was done under the supervision of Dr. Menno Holzhauer who also presented the impressive comparative study between Hoof-fit Gel and CTC-spray (based on cloortetracycline hcl). Is is proven that Hoof-fit Gel is 1.57 times more effective than CTC-spray.
