While travel restrictions hindered Intracare’s sales team in opportunities to travel due to Covid-19, we initiated the wonderful idea to gain benefits from the situation in which most of us are stuck at our headquarters.
Currently “hygiene” is a worldwide hot topic. Especially in our sector, where we not only face the effect of COVID-19 but also see the harsh consequences of ASF and AI. Hygiene is currently very topical, and this we also experience at Intracare. People like to be informed in all details about Intracare’s hygiene products, one of the reasons why Intracare recently organised our ‘Intra Hygiene Inspirations days’. It’s a interactive way to keep our distributors well informed about the opportunities and benefits of our hygiene products. However there is only one place to experience the real power of our products in real-life and that’s at the farm itself. This is the reason why our Sales and R&D team visited a breeder parent stock farm in the south of the Netherlands to apply, test and witness all hygiene products ourselves. We organise these kind of training days a few times per year to gain practical knowledge and affiliation with our products. So let’s turn off our computers, put some boots on….. and do some cleaning and disinfecting!

The latest event happened on a very well organised farm which is owned by Mr. Han Coolen, one of our loyal customers. Before we started the practical part of this day, Mr. Coolen told us his experience in cleaning and explained the importance of good cleaning and disinfecting. It’s always inspiring and useful to hear this from our end-users. This farmer is rearing parent stock animals, from day 1 till week 20. In this case we talk about very valuable animals, so being extra careful with hygiene is top priority for Mr. Coolen.
